Cargo Procurement & Supply
GLSB executes LNG cargo procurement on spot and term bases, handling both DES (Delivered Ex-Ship) and FOB (Free On Board) structures. Delivery execution has included cargoes to GwangYang Terminal, Korea — including the 2017 POSCO-KOMIPO deliveries.
Long-term supply agreements are structured with price indexation to JKM (Japan Korea Marker), TTF (Title Transfer Facility), or Henry Hub depending on counterparty preference and offtake geography. GLSB manages credit evaluation, letter of credit structuring, cargo scheduling, and vessel nomination throughout the supply chain.
Single-cargo and short-term LNG purchase execution on DES or FOB basis. Covers price discovery, counterparty negotiation, and delivery scheduling.
Structured off-take with price indexation to JKM, TTF, or Henry Hub. Includes credit support, force majeure provisions, and annual quantity tolerance.
Balancing spot exposure against contracted volumes to optimise delivered cost and manage supply risk across multiple offtake points.
Chartering
Fleet Chartering
Vessel Period Hire
LNG carrier hired for a defined period — from a few months to multi-year arrangements. GLSB manages vessel specification matching, hire rate negotiation, and performance monitoring against charter party terms.
- Suitable for committed offtake volumes requiring dedicated capacity
- Charter party structured with hire rate, trading area, and redelivery provisions
- Performance benchmarked against agreed daily consumption and speed warranties
Single Cargo Freight
Single-voyage freight arrangement for a specific cargo and route. Used for spot cargo delivery where owned or long-term chartered tonnage is not required.
- Freight rate fixed for the voyage — load port to discharge port
- Laytime and demurrage provisions agreed in the fixture
- Appropriate for one-off deliveries or market-opportunistic supply
Track Record
Executed Transactions & Active Agreements
DES cargo deliveries executed to GwangYang Terminal, South Korea in 2017. Demonstrated GLSB's capacity to manage procurement, vessel nomination, and delivery coordination into an active import terminal for major Korean buyers.
Memorandum of Understanding with PetroBangla currently in finalisation — 3.5 MTPA, 15-year term. Represents one of the larger long-term LNG supply commitments in the South and Southeast Asian market.
